First things first…

Sam thanks you for your patience, understanding and well-wishes. While he’s still not feeling very well, he did take a little bit of time today to relax in the sunshine. I’m not sure why, but he did whine a bit less while outdoors. Perhaps the fresh air really did make him feel a little better or maybe the flies lent some distraction from the pain. Either way, it was nice to see him laze about - although why he chose the driveway instead of the grass is beyond me.
By the way, we don’t usually dress Sammy in t-shirts, but the vet suggested we keep something on him because he likes to chew on his splint. Believe it or not, he actually wears a larger size than my husband - an XL.
