Secret Pal 9 Answers

I know I’ve been an awful blogger. I’m sorry! But I’m so close to being done with my Booga Bag and I just have to get it done!

Today, while answering the questions for Secret Pal 9, I realized that my unfinished Booga Bag is almost a year old. I received the yarn for my birthday (October 9th) and here it is October 5th. Can you believe that? Now I’m more determined than ever to get it done by my birthday.

Like I said, I’ve posted answers to the SP9 questions and hopefully my pal (when she’s assigned) will be able to find them alright. I hope when she reads them she doesn’t think I sound like the crazy, indecisive Libra that I’m so often considered. I’ve included a link to my answers in the sidebar too - under the SP9 button.

Now, since I want to do some knitting before the kids get home, I will leave you with a few pictures of the land around our house. I hope you enjoy some more autumn colors!

I was looking towards our back pasture when I took this picture. Beyond the goldenrod and weeds, the hubby grows oats. You can see an old hay wagon in the corner. The trees are gorgeous, lots of bright oranges and reds. I swear they get brighter and bolder everyday.

This is the land across the street. It was sold about two years ago. A nearby farmer rents it from the new owners and uses it to grow corn. We often see deer and turkeys over there, munching on the corn that’s fallen to the ground.

If you were to stand in my front yard and look down the road, this is what you’d see. I love driving down the roads and being surrounded by fall colors.

Stand in my back yard and look beyond the doghouses and this is what you’d see. Beyond the trees is the pasture and the chicken coop would be on your left. The beautiful gold and orange tree you see here is the bottom portion of the tree you always see in the lower right of the Saturday Sky pictures.
